Fearlessly Daphne exposed criminal and dishonest activities in government through her newspaper articles and she also joined protest marches and made speeches. Her enemies responded with threats and insults and Daphne was imprisoned but she never faltered. Finally her heroic struggle led to her tragic death in a car bomb explosion in October 2017.
